Principales actividades, medios y productos

Las principales líneas en el ámbito de los vehículos inteligentes son:

  • Realizamos colaboraciones puntuales con grupos como VisLab, o el GRULL (ULL), relacionadas fundamentalmente con Visión por computador.
  • Hemos participado en el proyecto STIRPE de la convocatoria nacional de Retos (2013-15) el GRULL (ULL).
  • Estamos colaborando con el GRULL (ULL), en el desarrollo del prototipo de silla de ruedas inteligente Perenquén.
  • Organización de congresos y eventos de IEEE en el ámbito del transporte inteligente (ITSC2012, VTC2013, ITSC2013, ITSC2014, ITSC2015, IV2016 y ITSC2016).
  • Organización de escuelas de verano (IEEE Summer School on Smart Mobility, 2016) en Gran Canaria.

El CICEI dispone de una infraestructura de e-Learning (Moodle, Workpress, servidores CMS, etc.) y un cluster de computación paralela tipo Beowulf con 16 nodos.
